Job summary

ConnectSFM Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Registered Sprinkler Fitter to join our service team in Victoria. The role focuses on scheduled inspection, testing and preventative maintenance of wet fire protection systems in line with AS 1851, offering a stable full-time position with ongoing training and development.

The successful candidate will have a current BPC (VBA) registration, strong knowledge of AS 1851 and AS 2118, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team across

Qualifications

• Must hold current BPC (VBA) registration.
• Experience in inspection, testing and servicing of fire sprinkler systems.
• Strong knowledge of AS 1851 and AS 2118.
• Experience inspecting and maintaining fire pump sets.
• Ability to identify defects and document findings clearly.
• Professional communication and client interaction skills.
• Driver's licence and availability for on-call roster.

Responsibilities

• Carry out monthly, six-monthly, annual and other scheduled inspections and testing of fire sprinkler systems per AS 1851.
• Inspect, test and service fire pump sets and related equipment.
• Conduct general sprinkler system maintenance and fault finding.
• Identify defects and non-compliances and report rectifications.
• Complete service reports and test records using electronic systems.
• Assist with on-site assessments and quotations for maintenance work.
• Liaise with clients and site teams; ensure work complies with Australian Standards.
• Work safely and in accordance with company procedures.
