Job summary

AECOM Brisbane seeks a Senior Fire Safety Engineer to lead fire engineering across buildings and places projects. Based in Brisbane, you will drive performance-based design, determine safe strategies and manage complex client projects through to occupancy.

You'll mentor teammates, support accreditation and coordinate with stakeholders while navigating the Building Code of Australia and Australian Guidelines. Hybrid work options and a comprehensive benefits package are provided.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience as a Fire Safety Engineer.
• Engineering qualification, preferably in Fire Engineering.
• Deep understanding of the Building Code of Australia and Australian Fire Engineering Guidelines.
• Experience leading fire engineering projects and securing approval from authorities.
• Experience preparing Performance-Based Design Briefs, Fire Engineering Reports and Fire Engineering Strategies.

Senior Fire Safety Engineer – Buildings & Places (Brisbane, Australia)

We are seeking a Senior Fire Safety Engineer to join our Buildings & Places team. This role will be based in Brisbane and will support the design, assessment and management of fire safety for new buildings, refurbishments and related infrastructure projects within Queensland.
