Job summary

Green Light Worldwide in Sydney is seeking an experienced Cloud FinOps Consultant to help organisations improve cloud cost transparency, financial reporting, governance and decision-making across complex cloud environments.

You will collaborate with cloud engineering, infrastructure, finance and business stakeholders to design, implement and continuously improve cloud financial operations practices, including reporting, cost dashboards and service catalogues.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Cloud FinOps or related cloud cost management.
• Experience delivering financial reporting for AWS and/or Azure.
• Experience with ServiceNow financial reporting or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support cloud financial reporting and cost management initiatives, ensuring accurate and transparent reporting aligned with business objectives.
• Develop and enhance cloud cost reports, dashboards, service catalogues, and governance processes.
• Use ServiceNow Financial Management modules or similar enterprise platforms to support financial reporting and cloud cost management.
• Partner with cloud engineers, finance teams, and business stakeholders to analyze cloud consumption trends and identify optimization opportunities.
• Provide clear, actionable recommendations that support informed commercial and operational decisions.
• Support the implementation and ongoing management of cloud service catalogues, including service classification, costing, and reporting.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud FinOps Consultant to help organisations improve cloud cost transparency, financial reporting, governance, and decision-making across complex cloud environments. Working with cloud engineering, infrastructure, finance, and business stakeholders, you will support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of cloud financial operations practices.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Lead and support cloud financial reporting and cost management initiatives, ensuring accurate and transparent reporting aligned with business objectives.
• Develop and enhance cloud cost reports, dashboards, service catalogues, and governance processes.
• Use ServiceNow Financial Management modules or similar enterprise platforms to support financial reporting and cloud cost management.
• Partner with cloud engineers, finance teams, and business stakeholders to analyze cloud consumption trends and identify optimization opportunities.
• Provide clear, actionable recommendations that support informed commercial and operational decisions.
• Support the implementation and ongoing management of cloud service catalogues, including service classification, costing, and reporting.

SKILLS REQUIRED

• At least five years of professional experience in Cloud FinOps, cloud cost management, financial reporting, or a related cloud infrastructure discipline.
• Demonstrated experience delivering cloud infrastructure financial reporting across AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience working with Google Cloud Platform will be highly regarded.
• Experience using ServiceNow financial reporting capabilities, cloud cost management tools, or comparable enterprise reporting and analytics platforms.
