Job summary

Contec Recruitment Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Finishes Foreman for a landmark luxury riverfront development in Brisbane’s West End. You will lead finishing trades across two 12-level buildings, delivering high-end apartments and premium finishes with a strong focus on quality.

Reporting to the Site Manager, you’ll manage sequencing, inspections and handovers while maintaining a safe, organised site and working closely with the project team to meet milestones.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Finishes Foreman on multi-level residential, hotel or high-quality commercial projects.
• Experience delivering premium apartments and high-specification finishes.
• QBCC Site Supervisor's Licence (essential).

• Coordinate and supervise finishing trades and subcontractors.
• Drive short-term programming, trade sequencing and daily productivity.
• Manage the delivery of high-end apartment finishes, common areas and associated amenities.
• Maintain exceptional quality standards across all finishing trades.
• Lead quality assurance, inspections and defect management processes.
• Proactively identify and resolve construction and coordination issues.
• Work closely with the Site Manager and project team to achieve programme milestones.
• Maintain a safe, organised and professional site environment.

The Opportunity

An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Finishes Foreman to join a landmark luxury riverfront development in Brisbane's West End.

The project comprises two 12-level residential buildings incorporating 164 luxury residences, including premium apartments, penthouses, terrace homes and exclusive riverfront residences, complemented by extensive resort-style amenities.

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will take ownership of finishing trades across designated areas of the development, ensuring the highest standards of quality, workmanship and presentation through to practical completion and handover.

• QBCC Site Supervisor's Licence (essential).
• Excellent knowledge of finishing trades, construction sequencing and quality control.
• Strong experience managing inspections, defects and handover processes.
• Excellent communication, organisation and subcontractor management skills.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach to construction delivery.
• Strong attention to detail and a genuine commitment to quality workmanship.
• A stable employment history and demonstrated success delivering projects through to completion.
