Job summary

Heidelberg Materials Australia is seeking a Reporting Analyst to join its FP&A team in Parramatta. You will deliver meaningful reporting, support budgeting and forecasting cycles, and develop dashboards to drive business insights.

The ideal candidate has 3–4 years in financial reporting, advanced Excel, and Tableau experience, with a track record of working with large datasets and partnering with stakeholders to influence decision-making. This role is based in Parramatta, Australia.

The Position

Reporting to the FP&A Manager, you will be responsible for delivering meaningful reporting and analysis, supporting budgeting and forecasting cycles, developing dashboards and helping drive improvements in reporting, automation and business insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, validate and consolidate financial and operational data from multiple systems.
• Perform data integrity checks and support reporting system enhancements and data migration projects.
• Analyse business performance, trends, risks and cost drivers to provide actionable insights.
• Build and maintain dashboards and management reports using Tableau and Excel.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and monthly management reporting processes.
• Assist in the delivery of local and overseas group reporting requirements.
• Drive process improvement initiatives focused on reporting efficiency, automation and enhanced business insights.
• Partner with stakeholders across finance and operations to understand reporting requirements and support decision making.

Candidate Profile

• 3-4 years' experience in Financial Reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong Tableau experience.
• Experience working with large and complex datasets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or Data Analytics.
• CA or CPA qualifications (or working towards) will be highly regarded.
