Job summary

Big River Resources, LLC, an established advice business in Australia, is seeking an ambitious Advice professional to join a mature, self-licensed AFSL practice with a strong client book and solid internal support. The role blends client strategy, engagement, business development and long-term advisory relationships.

You will work with a Senior Financial Adviser, driving client meetings, file notes, Xplan upkeep, lodgements and strategy materials.

Qualifications

• An approved tertiary qualification.
• 2-3 years' experience in a CSM, paraplanning or adviser support role.
• Sound advice and retirement technical knowledge.
• Working knowledge of legislative, industry and corporate standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong client service orientation and technology capability, including Xplan.

Responsibilities

• Support adviser meetings, presentations and follow-up actions.
• Own file notes, task progression and implementation workflow.
• Help maintain Xplan and broader practice systems.
• Assist with client paperwork and preparation of lodgements.
• Support compliance requirements across the advice process.
• Oversee SOA preparation, review and refinement with the Senior Adviser.
• Prepare or review relevant financial modelling.
• Undertake research across strategy, asset allocation and investment options.
