Job summary

ALDI Australia is seeking an Analyst within our Financial Accounting team, based in Minchinbury. This full-time permanent role focuses on analysing inventory data and financial transactions to provide insights for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in business or accounting roles.
• Experience using SAP to process, maintain, and manage data with attention to detail and data integrity.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at various levels.
• Proven ability to adapt to new technologies and systems, with a mindset for continuous learning and improvement.
• Experience with Inventory Costing (MAP) highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and resolve variances or irregularities across transactional data to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies.
• Troubleshoot and investigate discrepancies by liaising with various stakeholders to reach solutions promptly.
• Perform month end accounting activities including clearing adjustments and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Identify process inefficiencies and implement enhancements to strengthen accuracy and control.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams around executing new financial processes.
• Prepare financial and ad hoc reporting and analyses.
