Job summary

ALDI Australia is seeking an Analyst within our Financial Accounting team in Minchinbury. This full‑time role focuses on analysing inventory data and financial transactions to drive continuous improvement and accuracy.

You will perform month‑end activities, resolve variances, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement new processes. Strong SAP experience and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in business, accounting or related fields.
• Experience using SAP to process, maintain, and ensure data integrity.
• Strong communication, attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Excellent problem-solving with ability to liaise with stakeholders at various levels.
• Adapt to new technologies with a curious mindset and commitment to continuous learning.
• Experience with Inventory Costing (MAP) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and resolve variances or irregularities across transactional data to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies.
• Troubleshoot and investigate discrepancies by liaising with various stakeholders to reach solutions in a timely manner.
• Perform month end accounting activities including clearing adjustments and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Identify process inefficiencies and implement enhancements to strengthen accuracy and control.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams around executing new financial processes.
• Prepare financial and ad hoc reporting and analyses.

• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to liaise work with stakeholders at various levels.
• Proven ability to adapt to new technologies and systems, with a curious mindset and commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
• Experience with Inventory Costing (MAP) highly desirable.

Remuneration

• Transparent tiered salary range of$143,400 - $163,500including Superannuation.
