Job summary

Mane is seeking a seasoned Financial Manager in Sydney to lead the finance function and partner with senior stakeholders on strategic planning. You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to support growth and integrity.

With 5–10+ years in finance leadership, CA or CPA qualification, and hands-on experience in manufacturing or pharma, you will design robust controls, mentor the team, and drive continuous improvement across the organisation.

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualified with 5–10+ years’ experience in a similar role.
• Experience in Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical or similar industries is desirable.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Review financial statements and management reports in compliance with local and international accounting standards.
• Oversee the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, and review and analyse monthly operating results against budget.
• Implement and maintain robust internal control systems to safeguard the company’s assets and ensure financial integrity.
• Manage the operations of the accounting department, including the design of organisational structure.
• Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to support business growth and decision‑making processes.
• Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

• Proficiency in accounting software such as SAP and advanced Excel skills will be advantageous.
