Ignite is seeking a Finance Manager or Senior Financial Accountant to lead a high-performance finance function, drive governance, and partner with senior stakeholders to support strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related discipline.
• CPA, CA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a Financial Controller, Finance Manager, or similar leadership role.
• Strong technical accounting, financial reporting, and compliance expertise.
• Proven experience leading external and internal audit processes.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence decisions and partner with senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
• Advanced knowledge of SAP and financial systems.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and balance priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and delivery of accurate and timely financial reporting, including month-end close, budgets, forecasts, and business performance analysis.
• Ensure the integrity of the balance sheet through robust financial controls, reconciliations, and review processes.
• Oversee statutory reporting obligations, coordinating external audits and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manage internal audit activities, driving successful audit outcomes and timely resolution of findings.
• Ensure the accurate preparation and submission of statutory accounts, tax filings, and other compliance requirements.
• Partner with senior leaders and key stakeholders to provide strategic financial advice, commercial insight, and governance support.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
• Drive process improvements, finance transformation initiatives, and continuous improvement projects across the finance function.
• Support business growth through effective financial planning, analysis, and risk management.
