Job summary

Careers & Candidates is seeking a Financial Controller in Melbourne's CBD to lead a sizeable finance team and drive key change initiatives. The role focuses on robust financial reporting, risk and control improvements, and building stronger process discipline across the department.

You will manage the team, guide change initiatives from planning through execution, and work closely with FP&A and the broader business to provide strategic input and improve performance.

Qualifications

• CA/CPA qualified
• Experience in leading a large finance team
• Proven ability to drive change and implement new controls

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial reporting for the group and drive accuracy and timeliness
• Lead change initiatives focusing on risk, controls, structure and process
• Conduct risk and control reviews and implement tests, reporting and new structures
• Partner with FP&A to provide commercial input and insights to the business
• Inspire and manage a large team, aligning culture and work practices with the broader organisation
