We are a multidisciplinary practice, home to 60 practitioners, 20 of which are board registered specialists in the fields of oral surgery, endodontics, orthodontics, periodontics and prosthodontics.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Financial Controller to join our team. We are looking for candidates who are interested in either a part time (3 to 4 days) per week position or full-time candidates. The responsibilities for this position will be designed around the confirmed FTE for the successful candidate.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this is a high-impact role with genuine influence over the financial and commercial direction of the business. You will work closely with leadership to provide clarity, insight, and strategic guidance, while ensuring strong financial governance and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly financial close process and deliver timely, accurate reporting
• Prepare and oversee annual financial statements

Compliance & Governance

• Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements
• Oversee BAS, Payroll Tax, and Superannuation obligations
• Maintain and strengthen financial controls, policies, and procedures
• Liaise with external accountants and advisors

Commercial & Strategic Contribution

• Act as a trusted advisor to the Managing Director
• Support key business initiatives and growth opportunities
• Identify efficiencies and drive continuous improvement across financial processes
• Contribute to broader operational and commercial decision-making

Systems & Process Ownership
