VM Drilling, based in Kalgoorlie, is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join a growing team. The role offers full-time hours in a small, autonomous environment with flexible arrangements and an attractive salary package.

You will contribute to financial performance, manage reporting, budgeting, cash flow, payroll oversight and governance across WA operations. A CPA/CA qualification and 5+ years in senior finance are required.

Qualifications

• CPA or CA qualification required.
• Minimum 5 years in senior accounting or finance roles.
• Advanced Excel skills with modelling and reporting.
• Experience with Xero, CorePlan, Connecteam and other ERP/payroll systems.
• Strong commercial acumen, analytical capability and leadership.

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to become a key member of a growing and supportive team, with the ability to contribute directly to the company's continued growth, operational performance, and financial success.

VM Drilling is a privately owned RC drilling company based inKalgoorlie, serving clients throughout Western Australia. VM Drillingwas established in 2004 as a one rig company and has grown organicallyto a reputable mid-size company. Today the business is operating up to10 Rigs and possesses extensive experience within the mining industry.

About you

• CPA or CA qualified

• Strong commercial acumen, analytical capability, and leadership skills
• A collaborative team player who can build strong relationships across the business
• A proactive approach to identifying efficiencies and driving continuous improvement
