Job summary

Lepanto Investments is seeking a motivated Financial Accountant to join the Family Office in the heart of Sydney's CBD. The role reports to the Financial Controller and collaborates with a team of eight to manage accounting for trading and property assets.

Key responsibilities include maintaining accounting records, preparing management reports, BAS and tax management, and company secretarial duties in a varied, office-based environment.

Qualifications

• CA/CPA qualified with at least 5 years' relevant experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Full responsibility for maintaining accounting records and preparation of related management reports.
• Liaison with and support of Business Managers.
• BAS / sundry tax management.
• Company secretarial work.
• Maintenance of tenancy schedules and management of related leases.
• Ad hoc work as and when required.

A rare opportunity exists for a motivated Financial Accountant to join the Family Office of a well-known retailer. The office manages the affairs of various family members across a wide range of investments and asset classes. This is a full-time, office-based role located in the heart of the CBD reporting directly to a Financial Controller and working with a team of 8 others. The role is varied and will offer direct exposure to both trading businesses and property assets.

Key responsibilities

Full responsibility for maintaining accounting records and preparation of related management reports.

Liaison with and support of Business Managers.

BAS / sundry tax management.

Company secretarial work.

Maintenance of tenancy schedules and management of related leases.

Ad hoc work as and when required

About you

CA/CPA qualified with at least 5 years' relevant experience.
