Responsibilities

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced financial advisor to join a growing and highly respected financial advisory firm in Melbourne's Inner East/City Fringe. Dedicated to provision of quality, tailored financial advice to its enviable and growing clientele, we are looking for a new business advisor who wants to be a part of an incredible team with a business that offers a genuine opportunity for future partnership.

Ideally, we are seeking a passionate and accomplished financial advisor who loves building relationships and growing a client base. While there is plenty of opportunity to grow your client base through existing referrals and partner firm relationships, the role will also require you to utilise your own COIs and business development capabilities to grow your book. In turn you will be supported by an exceptional support team of associates, CSO's and paraplanners and be working with a team of advisors who are like family. Key responsibilities

• Network, leverage leads and seize opportunities to increase your client base
• Develop referral sources in order to introduce new clients to the firm
• Providing high end ongoing service to your existing clients
• Assess clients' financial situations, offer strategic advice on various financial products and services, and develop personalised financial plans for individual clients
• Attend to client meetings (reviews, new clients, SOA presentations)
• Provide client advice following meetings, preparing strategy/recommendations for paraplanners to write, vetting advice
• Attend to client queries (ad-hoc calls, emails, drop-ins, withdrawal requests)
• Service all clients within their EFDS period and to stated service standards

About you

• Knowledge of investment and insurance products
• Extensive knowledge of financial services industry and products
• Knowledge of legislative and compliance requirements
• Knowledge of taxation, Centrelink, Estate planning issues, retirement planning and more
• Experience in provision of fully holistic advice to a broad range of clients
• Excellent presentation and communication
• Motivated by growth of client book and financial incentives
