Job summary

FAAA is seeking an experienced financial adviser to oversee a portfolio of pre-retiree clients with wealth of $1 million and above in Queensland. You will listen carefully, develop practical financial strategies, and guide implementation.

You will maintain compliant client records, work with colleagues to coordinate outcomes, and identify opportunities for additional advisory needs. The role offers a base salary with super and bonuses, with potential for shareholder opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least four years of experience as a financial adviser.
• Qualifications and regulatory requirements for adviser status.
• Experience with pre-retiree clients and wealth >$1M.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Strong documentation and compliance standards.
• Ability to coordinate with colleagues and advisers.

The firm's approach centres on understanding each client's circumstances, developing tailored strategies and providing ongoing reviews as their needs evolve.

The Role

• Oversee and build trusted relationships with an existing portfolio of pre-retiree Clients


• Develop and present appropriate financial strategies in clear, practical language


• Guide clients through implementation and ongoing advice reviews


• Maintain accurate client records and high standards of advice documentation and compliance


• Work with colleagues and other professional advisers to coordinate client outcomes


• Identify opportunities to assist clients with changing or additional advice needs

About you

You are a thoughtful, professional Adviser who listens carefully, communicates clearly and follows through on commitments. You will be interested in dealing with pre-retiree Clients with wealth of $1million and above and have at least four years experience as an Adviser coupled with appropriate qualifications, professional and regulatory requirements applicable to adviser status.
