Job summary

Sanitarium Health & Wellbeing is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join the Commercial Finance team at Berkeley Vale. You will own core month-end processes, deliver accurate reporting and robust cashflow forecasts while improving accounting controls and processes across the business.

You will collaborate with Accounts Payable/Receivable, Payroll and external auditors, applying your five-plus years of accounting experience and ERP expertise to drive continuous improvement and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or accounting degree required.
• CPA or CA qualifications, or actively studying towards them.
• At least five years’ experience in an accounting function.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end, quarter-end and year-end processes, reporting, forecasting and compliance.
• Prepare and review cashflow forecasts and reconciliations.
• Maintain working papers, controls and process documentation.
• Identify improvements using Excel, analytics and automation.
• Support statutory reporting and asset accounting activities.
