Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in financial reporting and journal entry processing.
• Experience managing end-of-month and year-end processes.
• Familiarity with GST, BAS and payroll tax reporting.
• Experience maintaining Fixed Asset Registers and calculating depreciation.
• Experience supporting or leading audit processes and providing financial documentation.
• Ability to identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.

Your activities

• Processing journal entries and reconciling general ledger accounts.

Your profile

• Proven experience in financial reporting, journal entry processing, and general ledger reconciliation.
• Experience managing end-of-month and year-end accounting processes.
• Familiarity with tax compliance, including GST, BAS submissions, and payroll tax reporting.
• Previous experience maintaining and reconciling Fixed Asset Registers and calculating asset depreciation.
• Prior experience supporting or leading audit processes and providing financial documentation.
• Experience identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Strong background in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel (intermediate skills, including VLOOKUPs and PivotTables).
• Accounting degree or qualifications, or experience working toward completing a relevant qualification.
• Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
