Preparation of timely and accurate journal entries and reconciliations
Assistance with preparation of supplementary monthly and quarterly close deliverables
Assistance with periodic internal and external audit requirements
Assistance with external financial reporting requirements including financial statements
Assistance with ad hoc financial requests as required
Identification and implementation of improvements relating to close process
Work closely with the FP&A team to analyse and understand actuals/inform the forecast
Adherence to internal control (SOX) requirements including maintenance of critical reports and spreadsheets
This is a Permanent position located our Surry Hills, SydneyCampus.
Minimum 3+ years’ relevant finance experience
Current CA or CPA designation is mandatory
Up to date and solid technical knowledge of IFRS accounting standards (US GAAP exposure is an advantage)
Advanced Excel
PeopleSoft (would be an advantage)
Experience operating within a well-established internal control environment in medium to large organisations.
