Job summary

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years' relevant accounting experience in commercial finance and/or professional practice.
• Strong experience in month-end, journals, reconciliations and financial reporting, with exposure to AP/AR.
• CPA qualification is highly regarded.
• SAP/ERP and Excel skills desirable.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines independently.
• Collaborative communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support accounts payable and receivable activities, including invoice processing, payments, reconciliations and credit control.
• Prepare and post journals and complete general ledger reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Assist with financial analysis and submission of financial information to headquarters.
• Support preparation of consolidated financial statements and group elimination journals.
• Assist with internal and external audit requirements and supporting documentation.
• Investigate and resolve financial discrepancies and outstanding items.
• Support finance process improvements and maintain accurate process documentation.
