Job summary

Farm Foods in Geelong is seeking a Financial Accountant to join our team and oversee critical financial processes. The role reports to the Head of Finance and will manage the end-of-month close, balance sheet reconciliations, P&L and cashflow reporting, as well as cost analysis and budget preparation.

The position requires CPA or CA qualification, strong financial management experience, leadership skills, and proficiency with Oracle NetSuite, XERO, and Excel.

Qualifications

• CPA or CA qualified with proven financial management experience.
• Demonstrated leadership and strong ownership of reporting.
• Experience with Oracle NetSuite and XERO.
• Excellent Excel skills and board/management reporting proficiency.
• High accountability and meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-of-month close and reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.
• Review profit & loss accounts and cashflow reporting.
• Perform cost analysis and assist with annual budget prep.
• Oversee weekly payroll and related tax requirements (GST, PAYG, Workcover).

Farm Foods manufacture in the FMCG space working with the likes of Coles, Woolworths, Aldi and independent retailers. We produce gourmet barbeque meats for these major retailers and pride ourselves on quality.

We are seeking a Financial Accountant to join our team.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Head of Finance,the financial accountant will action and implement a variety of financial functions for the business. These include the end of month close, encompassing reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts, review of profit & loss accounts and cashflow reporting. The role is also responsible for performing cost analysis, assisting with preparation of the annual budget, weekly payroll and related state & federal tax requirements (GST, PAYG, Workcover etc).

About You
