Job summary

Perigon Group is seeking a Financial Accountant to own the month-end process for a Manufacturing business, including journals, accruals, prepayments, and P&L analysis. You will manage balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany activity across international subsidiaries, supporting consolidated reporting.

You will also help prepare budgets, maintain fixed assets, assist with audits, and ensure GST/HST and sales tax compliance across entities, while contributing to process improvements and

Qualifications

• CPA/CA qualified with audit or business services background from practice.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS or AASB standards.
• Exposure to global entities.
• Driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Own the month-end process including journals, accruals/prepayments and analysis of the Balance Sheet and P&L.
• Complete and review balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage intercompany reconciliations and transactions across international subsidiaries.
• Assist with consolidated reporting.
• Prepare budgets and forecasts with department managers.
• Maintain fixed asset registers, the general ledger and chart of accounts.
• Support with interim and year-end audits.
• Prepare and file monthly/quarterly GST/HST and sales tax returns across entities.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives.
