Job summary

Endeavour Group is seeking a Finance Transformation Partner to join the Strategy & Transformation team in Sydney. You will drive the SAP ERP and finance sub-systems design, ensuring business readiness, robust controls, and smooth go-live.

You will partner across finance and the wider business, lead test scripts, training, and change management to maximise adoption and deliver lasting impact. Hybrid working is available.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of financial accounting or accounts processing experience with undergraduate qualifications.
• Hands-on experience in large-scale system implementations, SAP ERP preferred.
• Strong proficiency across core accounting systems and ERP applications.
• Exceptional communication and change leadership with influence across levels.
• Self-starter with strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
• Business Analyst capability or exposure in large corporate transformations.
• Experience developing test scripts, end-user training, and go-live support.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with analysts, leads, SAP experts and partners to define requirements and design ERP processes.
• Engage stakeholders to align design with operational realities and secure buy-in.
• Compile test scripts, resolve issues, and validate data and systems.
• Identify training needs and deliver knowledge transfer for go-live readiness.
• Establish segregation of duties and maintain internal control frameworks.

We are looking for a Finance Transformation Partnerto join our Strategy & Transformation team.

As a Finance Transformation Partner, you will play a pivotal, hands‑on role in shaping and delivering our new SAP ERP and finance sub‑systems. Working alongside our Head of Finance Transformation, you will take ownership of key accounting streams—ensuring business readiness, designing world‑class processes, and embedding robust internal controls and policies.

This isn't just about implementing a new system; it’s about partnering across our business to bring people along on the journey, driving adoption, and leaving a lasting, positive impact on how we work.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:

• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Functional Leads, SAP experts, and System Implementation Partners to define requirements, design finance templates, and build integrated, best-in-class ERP processes.
• Actively engage key stakeholders across finance and the broader group to align system design with operational realities and secure buy‑in.
• Compile test scripts, resolve issues, and ensure seamless data and system validation.
• Identify training needs, partner with business coaches, deliver knowledge transfer, and support end‑users so our teams are empowered and confident for go‑live.
• Establish clear segregation of duties, maintain internal control frameworks, and formulate supportive accounting policies.

Qualifications

Your Experience & Background:

• 10+ years of financial accounting or accounts processing experience, supported by relevant undergraduate qualifications.
• Demonstrated hands‑on experience in large-scale system implementations (SAP ERP preferred).
• Strong proficiency across core accounting systems, general ledger/ERP applications, and advanced spreadsheet skills.
• Exceptional communication and change leadership skills with a proven ability to influence, negotiate, and build strong relationships at all levels.
• Self‑starter mindset with strong analytical skills, sound decision‑making abilities, and resilience under pressure.
• Prior Business Analyst capability or exposure within large‑scale, complex corporate transformations.
• Direct experience developing test scripts, running end‑user testing, and delivering system training.
