Job summary
Hedweld Group of Companies in Mount Thorley NSW seeks a hands-on Finance Manager to lead financial operations for Australian and USA entities. You will drive finance transformation, enhance reporting, and deliver business insight across the group.
The role combines strong accounting with manufacturing cost discipline, systems improvement, and data-driven decision support, reporting to the General Manager from our Mount Thorley facility.
Qualifications
- Qualified accountant with CA/CPA or equivalent.
- Experience in senior finance roles (Finance Manager/Financial Controller).
- Manufacturing/production costing, inventory and variance analysis.
- Experience multi-entity reporting, compliance and governance.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Group's Finance Team and oversee financial management, reporting, compliance and business partnering.
- Drive ERP evolution, automation and data integrity across the finance function.
- Improve cost management, manufacturing accounting and performance visibility with operational teams.
- Develop dashboards and management reporting to support strategic decisions.
- Mentor and develop the Finance Team and uphold strong controls.
