Job summary
Ampcontrol is seeking a Finance Excellence, Automation & AI Lead to transform our Finance function through process excellence, automation, and AI adoption. This 12-month fixed-term role partners with Finance, Digital and business leaders to simplify and digitise key processes, and to develop roadmaps for automation and system optimisation that enable a scalable, data-driven Finance function.
The role can be based in Sydney or Tomago, with occasional travel to the Tomago Head Office.
Qualifications
- Degree qualification in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business, Information Systems or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience leading finance transformation, process improvement, automation or digital finance initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end finance processes and ability to redesign them using process mapping and continuous improvement.
- Experience developing business cases, transformation roadmaps, governance frameworks and benefits realisation plans.
- Working knowledge of automation, low-code and AI-enabled solutions, enterprise finance systems, reporting and analytics platforms.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, facilitation, change management and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Finance process excellence roadmap aligned with growth strategy and operating model.
- Review, redesign and standardise end-to-end finance processes for efficiency, governance and scalability.
- Build and deliver a prioritised portfolio of automation, workflow, reporting and reconciliation initiatives with measurable benefits.
- Develop the Finance AI roadmap and implement secure, well-governed use cases to boost productivity and insights.
- Own the optimisation of D365 Finance & Operations and related data, reporting, analytics and workflow capabilities.
- Lead cross-functional change from concept through adoption and handover, coaching Finance capability through training.
