Job summary

Suncorp Bank is seeking a Finance Systems Analyst to support governance and ongoing improvement of finance systems underpinning key business outcomes. You will help maintain the integrity of General Ledger interfaces, finance reference data, and reporting processes, blending systems expertise with accounting knowledge.

In this role you will partner with technology teams to address production issues, support change initiatives, and enhance finance operations across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience with finance systems, product system interfaces, or General Ledger integrations.
• Strong financial accounting and reporting knowledge with an understanding of accounting principles.
• Practical experience in Insurance Finance accounting.
• Ability to analyse complex data, solve problems, and manage competing priorities.
• Experience supporting system enhancements, testing activities, and change delivery initiatives.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support accurate General Ledger postings across insurance product and claims systems.
• Investigate and resolve data integrity issues to maintain reliable financial information.
• Develop business requirements, participate in testing activities, and support system releases.
• Maintain finance reference data and mapping tables for consistency and accuracy.
• Partner with technology teams to address production issues and improve system performance.
• Identify opportunities to enhance finance systems, processes, and reporting capabilities.
