Job summary

TAL Australia is seeking a Technical - Functional System Analyst in the Financial Systems Team. You will work with Finance, Project Managers and Business Analysts to support projects aligned with TAL strategy, in a 50/50 Technical/Functional split.

You will collaborate with TAL’s IT outsource partner, define business processes, configure and test systems, support user acceptance testing and provide post‑live support within the current change methodology.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of core finance modules: GL, AP, AR, Billing, and Reporting.
• SQL skills and debugging capabilities.
• Understanding of how finance systems interface with other systems.
• Experience with Life insurance products is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with TAL’s IT outsource partner.
• Lead business process definition, configuration, and unit testing.
• Support user acceptance testing and post-live support.
• Apply change methodology with proper segregation of duties.
• Create/maintain finance systems SOPs and process docs.
• Prioritize and assign resources to finance system issues.
