Police Bank, a leading Australian mutual bank, seeks a Finance Systems Analyst to enhance our finance systems, reporting, data management and process improvements across the Finance function.

Join our hybrid team to support BAU operations while contributing to projects, automation and system enhancements that drive efficiency and reliability across TechnologyOne and related platforms.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Information Systems.
• Experience with finance systems, ERP or financial reporting.
• Strong accounting and finance process knowledge.
• Attention to detail and data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support and administration across finance systems.
• Support month-end processes, budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
• Investigate and resolve system, data and reporting issues.
• Manage user access, configurations and security controls.
• Support financial reporting, data analysis and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with Finance, Technology and Risk to improve processes.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual tasks.
• Contribute to system upgrades, testing and implementation.
• Create and maintain documentation and support materials.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a Finance Systems Analyst to join our Finance team at Police Bank. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to build their expertise across finance systems, reporting, data management and process improvement while making a real impact on how our Finance function operates.

Working closely with our Finance Systems Manager and the broader Finance team, you'll become a trusted systems specialist, helping to ensure our finance systems are reliable, efficient and fit for purpose. You'll play a key role in supporting business-as-usual operations while also contributing to projects, system enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives that help drive the Bank forward

What will you be doing?

You'll be responsible for supporting, maintaining and improving the Bank's finance systems and reporting environment. Your day could involve:

• Providing day-to-day support and administration across finance systems.
• Supporting critical Finance activities including month-end processes, budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
• Investigating and resolving system, data and reporting issues.
• Managing user access, system configurations and security controls.
• Supporting financial reporting, data analysis, reconciliations and data integrity activities.
• Working with stakeholders across Finance, Technology and Risk to improve processes and system performance.
• Identifying opportunities to automate manual tasks and improve efficiency.
• Contributing to system upgrades, enhancements, testing and implementation activities.
• Creating and maintaining documentation, procedures and support materials.
• Building broad knowledge of the Bank's finance systems landscape, including TechnologyOne and associated reporting platforms.

What are we looking for?

We're looking for a curious and analytical problem-solver who enjoys understanding both the financial and technical sides of a business.

You will bring:

• Qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems or a related discipline.
• Experience working with finance systems, ERP platforms or financial reporting systems.
• A solid understanding of accounting and finance processes.
• Experience analysing financial data, reporting and reconciliations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to investigate system and data issues.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
• The ability to translate business requirements into practical system solutions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively across multiple teams.

Highly regarded experience includes:

• Treasury, regulatory reporting or data warehouse platforms.
• Process automation and system improvement initiatives.
• Banking or financial services experience.
• Budgeting, financial reporting and management reporting processes.
