Job summary

Sime Industrial is modernising its operations with a multiyear ERP transformation. We seek a Business Process Owner to take strategic ownership of finance processes, driving governance, standardisation and continuous improvement across the dealer network.

You will collaborate with finance leaders and SMEs, shaping the future-state operating model and ensuring risk management and governance are embedded in day-to-day finance activities. Hybrid work options are available in Australia.

Qualifications

• Experience leading process ownership or BPM in complex organisations.
• Experience delivering large-scale transformation programs and governance.
• Strong knowledge of finance processes, controls and process design.
• Ability to partner with Finance leaders across regions to drive standardisation.
• Proven ability to drive change, manage risks and resolve issues.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary business process owner for the finance stream.
• Own and govern end-to-end finance processes, ensuring consistency and alignment.
• Define and drive the future direction of finance processes, balancing needs and priorities.
• Partner with Finance leaders, SMEs and program teams to identify opportunities for standardisation.
• Review and prioritise process initiatives, enhancements and change requests.
• Act as the escalation point for process risks, issues and dependencies.
• Establish and monitor process performance measures and accountability.
• Guide process design and BPE teams to align with the future operating model.
• Maintain visibility of risks and dependencies for governance decisions.
• Champion continuous improvement and adoption across the business.
