Job summary

Wild Women On Top is seeking an experienced Finance & Operations Manager to lead financial reporting, budgeting and systems at our Sydney HQ. You’ll own the end-to-end finance function, drive efficiencies, and partner with leadership to improve business performance.

You’ll oversee payroll, GL integrity, compliance, and cross‑functional initiatives while supporting strategic decisions in a fast‑paced, nonprofit events organisation. Hybrid work is available in Sydney's Northern Beaches.

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years' experience in finance, accounting and/or operations roles.
• Strong technical accounting and financial management capability.
• Experience owning end-to-end finance, including payroll.
• Proven budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling skills.
• Strong systems experience with Xero and modern office software.
• Proficiency in operations management and implementing effective systems.
• Experience in nonprofit, fitness, or event management industries is valued.
• Rights to live and work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Own the full finance function (including bookkeeping).
• Manage accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
• Deliver monthly P&L, Balance Sheet, and cashflow reporting.
• Maintain general ledger integrity and month-end processes.
• Oversee banking, payments, and working capital management.
• Liaise with external accountants for compliance.
