Job summary

Responsibilities

• Lead core financial operations: supervise and support a small team delivering accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, card administration, asset recording and other transactional finance activities.
• Provide flexible financial services support across finance functions to respond to workload surges, meet deadlines and assist with procurement activities including contract planning.
• Strengthen financial governance: maintain robust controls and ensure compliance with Financial Management Act 2006, Treasurer’s Instructions, Australian Accounting Standards and ODPP policies.
• Foster collaboration and stakeholder engagement: build effective relationships with stakeholders across the ODPP and broader directorate.
• Drive business partnering and improvement: advise on policies, procedures, processes and systems enhancements to improve efficiency, compliance and service delivery.
