Avoca is building the operating layer for modern healthcare. We are seeking a Finance and Operations Manager to own day-to-day financial and operational activities, working directly with the CEO and external advisers.

You will ensure timely payroll, accurate bookkeeping, travel logistics, tax coordination, and robust financial visibility. With 5+ years in finance operations and strong knowledge of Australian payroll and Xero, you will drive month-end reporting, cash flow forecasting, budgeting

Qualifications

• Experience with payroll, budgeting and cash-flow forecasting.
• Ability to produce monthly P&L and cash reports.
• Experience coordinating an external bookkeeper and advisers.
• Familiarity with Australian payroll and tax timing.
• Strong people-operations experience and HR administration.

Responsabilités

• Oversee payroll and people administration, including onboarding and offboarding.
• Coordinate bookkeeping, invoicing, expenses, reconciliations and month-end close.
• Coordinate travel logistics for team events and conferences.
• Coordinate tax filing deadlines and provide inputs to accountants.
