Gold Coast Health in Australia is seeking a Finance Officer to join the Divisional Finance Team. You will support the preparation of budgets and forecasts, deliver variance analyses, and provide decision support to drive financial and commercial performance for the Gold Coast and northern New South Wales region.

The role requires collaboration with Executives and the Management Accounting Team to identify variances and develop strategies, with a view to improving financial outcomes.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance or Commerce is desirable.
• Understanding of the regulatory context for a statutory health service is advantageous.
• Criminal History Screening is required for new employees (GCH will cover cost).

Responsabilités

• Prepare budgets, forecasts and variance analyses with meaningful reporting.
• Provide decision support for negotiation, reporting and amendment processes.
• Assist in developing and maintaining procedures for capturing cost and pricing data.
• Collaborate with Executives and the Management Accounting Team to identify variances and performance issues and develop mitigation strategies.
