Aquinas College, Ashmore, operated within Brisbane Catholic Education, invites applications for a detail-oriented School Officer (Finance) to support the College’s financial operations and day-to-day finance processes.

You will bring experience in financial operations, process development, data analysis and team leadership, contributing to school success and sound financial governance. This is a full-time, continuing role with attractive development opportunities.

Qualifications

Evidence of overseeing systems and resources.
Strong knowledge of financial regulations and procedures.
Experience in managing procurement and budget administration.
Ability to develop and implement effective financial processes.
Leadership to supervise and train support staff.

Responsibilities

Overseeing the development, maintenance and operations of relevant systems and resources and recommending improvements to processes and procedures.
Developing and interpreting legislation, regulations, procedures and other guideline material relating to the financial operations of the school
Preparing and maintaining procurement activities, including overseeing budget administration, and activities
Reviewing, developing and implementing processes and systems that enable effective financial management
Supervising and training support staff as required.
