Job summary

Aquinas College, Ashmore seeks a detail-oriented School Officer (Finance) to support the College’s financial operations and day-to-day finance processes. You will bring expertise in financial operations, process development, data analysis, and team leadership to help drive school success.

Location is Aquinas College - Ashmore with a 38-hour work week and a base rate of $39.44 per hour plus 12.75% super. The role is a Full Time Continuing position with opportunities for professional development

Qualifications

Oversee and improve financial systems and resources.
Understand financial legislation, regulations, and procedures.
Experience in procurement and budget administration.
Develop and implement effective financial management processes.
Lead and train support staff as required.

Responsibilities

Overseeing the development, maintenance and operations of relevant systems and resources and recommending improvements to processes and procedures.
Developing and interpreting legislation, regulations, procedures and other guideline material relating to the financial operations of the school.
Preparing and maintaining procurement activities, including overseeing budget administration, and activities.
Reviewing, developing and implementing processes and systems that enable effective financial management.
Supervising and training support staff as required.
