Job summary

Australian Investment Exchange in Sydney CBD is seeking a Finance Officer to support the Financial Accounting function with timely and accurate financial information. Based in Sydney, you will manage accounts payable and receivable, cash flow forecasting and month-end close, contributing to our growth during a period of improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years commercial finance experience in a large corporate environment.
• Experience in accounting and clerical functions.
• Exposure to debtor and creditor functions.
• Strong Excel and data management skills.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Process full function for Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable.
• Cash flow forecasting, daily cash flow movements, and reconciliations.
• Prepare month-end general ledger journals, including accruals.
• Monthly general ledger analysis and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Administration of corporate cards and travel programs.
• Assist with reporting and ad-hoc financial information.
• Contribute to process improvements and control enhancements.
• General administrative support.
