Full Job Description

Location: Girraween, NSW

Salary Package: $110,000 - $120,000 + superannuation, depending on experience

Role Highlights

This role sits within the Finance team and is responsible for a broad range of accounting, financial reporting, forecasting and reconciliation activities. You will support weekly and monthly reporting, contribute to month-end processes and provide financial analysis to assist with business decision-making. The position offers exposure to operational and commercial finance within a large-scale organisation, utilising Excel, SAGE and internal reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely completion of weekly and monthly financial reporting.
• Assist with month-end processes, reporting deadlines and general ledger reconciliations.
• Investigate and analyse discrepancies, variances, trends and anomalies across financial reports.

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience in a Finance Officer, Assistant Accountant or similar accounting role.
• Strong Excel skills, with experience using SAGE or other accounting systems highly regarded.
• Experience with financial reporting, general ledger reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to investigate financial discrepancies.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
