Job summary

The PICA Group in Sydney is seeking a Finance Officer on a 14‑month max‑term contract to support financial administration across strata schemes, including levy processing, banking activities, and arrears management.

You'll work with owners, Strata Managers, and the finance team in a process‑driven, customer‑focused role with 50/50 hybrid flexibility.

A background in administration, accounts or related finance support, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in administration, customer service, accounts administration, or a similar process-driven environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage high volumes of data accurately.
• Strong communication skills, with confidence handling sensitive conversations professionally and respectfully.
• Ability to manage competing priorities while following established policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily banking activities and levy administration across a portfolio of strata schemes.
• Respond to levy and account enquiries via phone and email, providing professional and timely support.
• Assist owners with payment arrangements and hardship plans while maintaining empathy and professionalism.
• Conduct monthly arrears processes, follow up overdue accounts, and maintain accurate financial records.
• Process levy generation runs, levy updates following AGMs, Section 184 Certificates, and other finance administration tasks.
