Randstad is recruiting a Finance Officer in Melbourne on a 5-month temporary basis to support the transactions team with invoicing, payments, and reconciliations. You will report to the Head of Finance in a collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in accounting, strong Excel skills, and experience with NetSuite or Oracle, with a proactive, detail‑driven approach. Immediate availability preferred.

Introduction:

We are currently recruiting a Finance Officer on a temporary basis for 5 months at a recognised commercial organisation. They are a leading name in the industry and show significant growth by offering world class services to their customers.

It’s a driven and collaborative environment, working in the finance division, where the colleagues are engaged, aware, friendly and value encouraging ideas. This role will assist the current transactions team with the debt collection of tuition fees, prompt and timely processing of all invoices for suppliers, reconciliations, etc.

You will report to the Head of Finance.

Your responsibilities:

• Entering invoices in the system
• Processing invoices and payments in a timely and accurate manner
• Reviewing accounts payable entries to ensure all data are entered correctly
• Initiating new suppliers and adding them on the system
• Debt collection, banking, allocations, receipting
• Vendor and supplier reconciliations
• Other administration & accounts duties where required

What experience will you have:

• 4+ years in the accounting domain
