Job summary

Scentre Group is seeking a Finance Manager to lead Sustainability Reporting within the Finance team in Sydney. You will translate climate data into financial outcomes and support the annual Sustainability Report and related governance processes.

You will collaborate with Risk, Internal Audit, Legal & Company Secretariat, Investor Relations, Operations and external auditors to ensure robust, compliant reporting and data integrity across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience in sustainability and financial reporting within a finance environment.
• Ability to work with auditors and assurance providers to deliver high-quality reporting.
• Knowledge of climate-related disclosures and ESG regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Translate sustainability and climate data into financial outcomes for decision-making.
• Lead the annual Sustainability Report and support the Annual Report.
• Draft board papers for Risk & Sustainability and Audit & Finance Committees.
• Lead emissions reporting (Scopes 1-3) for compliance.
• Develop climate resilience modelling affecting cash flow and asset decisions.
• Embed climate risk into strategic planning with Finance and Operations.
• Maintain Basis of Preparation docs and manage external assurance.
• Lead ESG reporting system enhancements to improve data quality.
• Manage benchmarking submissions and respond to investor inquiries.
