Lyra Technology Group's Concept Data in Adelaide is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the finance function, delivering accurate reporting and strong governance. You will drive planning, budgeting and forecasting while providing commercial insight to senior leadership.

Reporting to the CEO, you will oversee accounting operations, taxation coordination and internal controls, partnering with business leaders to improve performance and support growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in financial accounting or finance management.
• CA qualification (or equivalent) and strong accounting skills.
• Strong financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and controls.
• Experience providing commercial and strategic financial support to leaders.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the finance function with accurate financial reporting and month-end close.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including payroll and treasury.
• Manage taxation and statutory compliance with external accountants and regulators.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning and performance analysis.
• Develop and maintain robust financial controls and governance frameworks.
• Partner with business leaders to provide commercial insights and pricing support.
• Drive continuous improvement across finance systems and reporting processes.

About The Position

One of our Operating Companies, Concept Data is looking for a Finance Manager to join their team in Adelaide.

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to take ownership of the finance function and play a key role in supporting the continued growth and performance of the organisation.

This is an opportunity to step into a broad, commercially focused finance leadership role where you will have genuine influence across the business. Reporting to the CEO, you will lead the finance function, provide trusted commercial advice to senior leadership and drive continuous improvement across financial reporting, systems, controls and processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the finance function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, month-end close activities, and compliance with accounting standards.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, banking, cash flow management and treasury activities.
• Manage all taxation and statutory compliance obligations, while coordinating with external accountants, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
• Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and financial performance analysis to support strategic business decisions.
• Develop, implement, and maintain robust financial controls, risk management frameworks, and finance policies to ensure strong governance.
• Partner with business leaders to provide commercial insights, financial analysis, pricing support, and recommendations to improve business performance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across finance systems, reporting processes and internal controls.

Skills Required

• Minimum 5 years' experience in financial accounting, finance management or a similar senior finance role.
• CA qualification (or equivalent professional accounting qualification).
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, month-end accounting processes, budgeting, forecasting and financial controls.
• Demonstrated experience providing commercial and strategic financial support to business leaders.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership abilities.
• High attention to detail with strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Experience with Business Central or a similar ERP system (desirable).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with financial systems and reporting tools.
