Job summary

City FM Australia is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the finance team and partner with operational leaders across the organisation. You will oversee budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting while driving commercial insights and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent).
• Proven experience in financial management, management accounting and commercial analysis.
• Previous people leadership and team management experience.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting expertise.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and business partnering skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The Opportunity

Are you an experienced Finance Manager looking for an opportunity to combine strategic leadership with commercial influence? We are seeking a commercially focused Finance Manager to join our Finance team on a full time permanent basis. Reporting to the General Manager, you will lead a team of professionals while providing critical financial insight, business partnering and commercial support across the organisation. This role is responsible for leading budgeting and forecasting processes, delivering meaningful financial reporting, driving continuous improvement initiatives and partnering with operational leaders to support informed decision-making. You'll play a key role in identifying commercial opportunities, mitigating risks and ensuring the business achieves optimal outcomes for both City and our partners.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Forecasting

• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process across the business
