Job summary

KeepCup Pty Ltd. is seeking a hands-on Finance Controller to own financial accounting, compliance, and reporting across AU, UK and US entities.

Report directly to the Managing Director, you will keep the books clean, satisfy regulators, and provide leadership with clear insights into the business position. This role is hands-on with month-end ownership, cross-border workflows, and all major financial processes across currencies and tax regimes.

Qualifications

• CA, CPA or ACCA qualification (or equivalent).
• 5+ years' experience in finance roles, ideally multi-entity and multi-currency.
• Experience with inventory accounting; Cin7 and ApprovalMax a bonus.
• Working knowledge of AU, UK and US tax and compliance, or ability to manage advisers across markets.
• Experience in product, retail or ecommerce businesses.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end close across three entities, including intercompany and multi-currency reconciliations.
• Prepare consolidated and entity-level management accounts.
• Deliver monthly reporting to the MD with commentary on drivers.
• Manage year-end with external accountants and auditors.
• Own statutory and tax compliance across AU, UK and US: BAS/GST, PAYG and payroll tax, UK VAT (MTD) and US sales tax.
• Manage intercompany arrangements and transfer pricing documentation.
• Keep ahead of deadlines and regulatory change in each market.
• Own Xero across all entities; manage approval workflows in ApprovalMax.
• Work with Cin7 to ensure inventory, landed costs and COGS are accurate and reconciled.
• Strengthen controls and automate where it saves time.
• Manage cash flow forecasting, AP, AR and FX exposure.
• Support budgeting and forecasting.
• Partner with the team on margin, pricing and inventory decisions.

Today, KeepCup operates companies in Australia, the UK and the US, selling through direct-to-consumer and wholesale channels. As we enter our next phase of growth, we're looking for someone to own our numbers across all three.

About the Role

You’ll report directly to the Managing Director and own financial accounting, compliance and reporting across our AU, UK and US entities. You’ll keep the books clean, the regulators happy and the leadership team clear on where the business stands.

This is a hands-on role. You’ll do the work yourself, own the month-end, and improve how we do things along the way. Time zones, currencies and tax regimes will all keep you on your toes.

What You’ll Do

• Own month-end close across three entities, including intercompany and multi-currency reconciliations

About You

You’re precise, organised and commercially minded. You like a clean reconciliation and a clear answer. You’re comfortable juggling multiple entities and jurisdictions, and you’d rather fix a process than work around it.

You’ll bring:

• CA, CPA or ACCA qualification (or equivalent)
