Job summary

Sharp & Carter Finance & Accounting in Victoria is partnering with a statutory authority to appoint a Finance Manager. You will lead financial accounting, statutory reporting and taxation compliance while guiding a small team and partnering with executive stakeholders.

A core focus will be directing the finance workstream of a major ERP implementation, shaping future-state processes and reporting capabilities across the organisation.

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualification with Accounting/Finance degree.
• Strong financial reporting, statutory reporting, audit and taxation experience.
• Experience managing external audits and audited financial statements.
• Exposure to ERP implementation or transformation projects.
• Leadership experience managing finance professionals.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial accounting, statutory reporting, tax compliance and audit management.
• Provide governance, reporting and financial controls across the organisation.
• Direct the finance workstream of a major ERP implementation project.
• Develop relationships with executive stakeholders and government partners.
