Job summary

The NSW Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water is seeking a Senior Manager, Financial Assurance and Compliance to lead the delivery of governance frameworks that support robust decision-making and accountability across the department. You will help shape financial policy, strengthen internal controls and drive climate-related disclosures, while overseeing asset management policy.

• Extensive experience in financial governance, controls, policy and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of public sector financial frameworks and Treasury requirements.
• Experience or exposure to climate reporting, asset management, or enterprise risk (highly regarded).
