Job summary

BHP in the Eastern Pilbara region seeks a commercially astute Finance Business Partnering Manager to act as the CFO for the operation, leading a team of finance business partners and partnering with site leadership to deliver budgets and forecasts.

You will drive value creation, financial discipline and strategic decision support, challenging performance and ensuring resources are allocated to maximise value for the business.

Qualifications

• Strong financial planning, forecasting, investment evaluation and business case development skills.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead discussions on value creation and capital allocation.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing finance teams.
• Experience partnering with operational leaders to deliver business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Act as the finance leader for the operation, ensuring activities align with business strategy and value creation.
• Partner with the General Manager and Site Leadership Team to develop, challenge and deliver operational plans, budgets and forecasts.
• Provide strategic financial advice and commercial insight to support operational and investment decisions.
• Drive productivity improvement across unit cost, capital efficiency and workforce performance.
• Lead the development and review of business cases and capital allocation decisions.
• Ensure strong cost discipline and effective operation of the site cost-control framework.
• Deliver meaningful financial insights, identifying risks, opportunities and trade-offs to improve performance.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives and embed the BOS across the business.

Education

Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or related discipline
