This senior, hands‑on role requires hit-the-ground-running capability, blending solid accounting with a commercial mindset and strong interaction with senior finance and operational stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Mining experience is essential.
• Strong management and financial accounting capability.
• Commercially minded with strong operational understanding.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of key accounting and reporting activities.
• Partner with operational leaders to provide commercial insight.
• Analyse performance and identify key business and cost drivers.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and planning.
• Provide analysis to support commercial decision‑making.
• Drive improvements across finance processes and reporting.

Hunter Manning are partnering with a fast-growing ASX-listed mining business who are looking for an experienced Senior Project Accountant to join their Perth team.

This is a senior, hands‑on opportunity for someone who can hit the ground running, combining strong accounting capability with a commercial approach.

Working closely with senior finance and operational stakeholders, you’ll have broad exposure across reporting, analysis and business partnering, while also mentoring and guiding more junior members of the finance team.
