Job summary

TOM People is recruiting a Finance Business Partner - Manufacturing for a leading FMCG manufacturer in Victoria. This role partners with site leadership to provide financial insights and drive EBIT growth across multiple production sites.

You will own monthly reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis, identifying cost-saving opportunities and performance improvements in a fast-paced environment. Strong stakeholder engagement is essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified CA, CPA, or CIMA with manufacturing or supply chain finance experience.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and business partnering skills.
• Proven budgeting and forecasting experience in FMCG/manufacturing.
• Ability to analyse operational performance and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Partner with manufacturing and operations leaders to improve site performance and profitability.
• Lead monthly reporting, variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and latest estimates.
• Deliver actionable insights on labour, production, cost, and operational drivers.
• Build financial models and business cases to support decisions.
• Drive continuous improvement and financial governance across sites.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Regional Finance Manager, you will partner closely with operational leaders across multiple manufacturing sites, providing financial insights and commercial support to improve performance and drive strategic outcomes. This is a visible role requiring strong stakeholder engagement and a hands-on approach to problem solving.

About You

• CA, CPA or CIMA qualified with experience in manufacturing or supply chain finance.
• Strong business partnering skills gained within FMCG, food manufacturing, or a similar operational environment.
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and operational performance analysis.
• Commercially minded with strong communication, analytical, and influencing skills.
