Australian Red Cross Lifeblood is seeking a Finance Business Partner Lead to provide strategic financial leadership across a defined portfolio of units and enable functions. You will lead a team of Finance Business Partners and Management Accountants, building commercial capability and strong partnering mindsets.

With significant autonomy, you’ll strengthen governance and financial controls while driving simplification, standardisation and automation across Finance.

Qualifications

• Significant senior experience in finance business partnering within a complex or multi-site organisation.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and performance insights capabilities.
• Proven ability to partner with Executives and senior leaders and influence strategic decision-making.
• Demonstrated governance, controls, compliance and audit experience across a portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary finance partner to Executives and senior leaders, providing strategic financial insight and evidence-based recommendations.
• Lead end-to-end budgeting, forecasting and planning across the portfolio.
• Translate performance into forward-looking insights, identify risks and opportunities to improve value for money.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team of Finance Business Partners and Management Accountants.
• Own and embed financial governance across the portfolio with strong controls and accountability.
• Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and contribute financial expertise to transformation programs.
• Champion continuous improvement across financial processes, systems and reporting.
