Job summary

Kanda is seeking a Finance Business Partner to place themselves at the center of how we measure, understand and improve performance. You’ll turn month-end numbers into insight and craft clear commentary that supports business decisions.

You’ll lead a division of the Finance team, delivering accurate reporting on time and collaborating with non-finance leaders to translate data into practical actions. This role includes hybrid work options and wellbeing perks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level degree in commerce or accounting is essential.
• Strong financial analysis skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Proven experience in month-end reporting and variance commentary to deadlines.
• Experience leading or managing a finance team is advantageous.
• Understanding invoicing, pricing and funding regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate, on-time month-end reporting, variance analysis and commentary, plus ad hoc analysis to support decision making.
• Contribute to finance reports tracking performance and KPIs, turning numbers into business insight.
• Oversee debtors reporting and control customer invoicing in line with compliance and deadlines.
• Prepare pricing schedules and funding submissions in line with government regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate financial inputs for government grant applications as required.
• Support and manage a division of the Finance team.
